Everybody has a story, and I believe mine helps me connect with my clients on a deeper level. My name is Felipe Garcia, and my journey into mortgage advising has been shaped by over 16 years of service as a uniformed police officer. I started my career as an immediate response officer before moving on to work as a community beat manager and dedicated specialist policing operations. I later joined the youth offending team.

A significant part of my career was spent as a member of the national police search team, where I specialised in locating and recovering evidence in critical investigations. I also worked as a police evidence gatherer for major crime operations and public order policing. These roles sharpened my ability to manage high-pressure situations, reinforced my attention to detail, and developed my problem-solving skills—abilities I carry over into my work as a mortgage adviser.

My policing career instilled in me the values of service, dedication, and integrity—principles that guide my approach to helping clients today. As a father of three, I understand the importance of securing a stable financial future for my family, which fuels my passion for assisting clients in their homeownership and financial journeys.

In addition to my background in policing, I have extensive experience as a landlord, managing both buy-to-let and holiday-let properties. This hands-on experience provides me with a deep understanding of the property market, enabling me to offer expert advice on various property-related financial matters.

I’m also committed to charitable causes, having raised money for large charities, including cancer research. This reflects my desire to make a positive impact, both in my professional and personal life.

Outside of my professional work, I’ve competed in Thai boxing—a discipline that taught me perseverance, focus, and discipline—values I apply to every aspect of my work.
